Scout's Honour is a FREEWARE extension designed to get you through airport security faster. I expect that the majority of Macs that go as carry-on baggage will be PowerBooks but this extension should run on any Mac model. Obviously it will run under system 7.x.x but this extension should also run under any system software that supports both Extensions (INITs) and the ShutDown manager.
If you have any difficulties with the program please let me hear about them. I can be reached at 72240,2341 on CompuServe.
Usage notes:
• Install the extension and then forget you have it. When you are going through airport security though, and you are asked to demonstrate your Mac, remember to hold down the SPACE BAR during startup.
• I have supplied this extension with three ASCII zeros at the beginning of the file name. This forces it to load first and gets you through security as fast as possible. Add more zeros if you need to!
• I have removed the "Continue" button that was in version 1.0. Now you will only have a "Shutdown" button. In the unlikely event the security officer is not satisfied with the Scout's Honour dialog then simply shut down and then do a full restart. I eliminated the "Continue" button so that if you are loading Scout's Honour before your virus interceptor (as I suggest you do) it cannot be targeted by viruses.
